The Princess of Pop is back at it again; this time, she has lashed out against her family. Britney Spears released a thread of tweets on Tuesday in which she revealed horrifying details about her controversial conservatorship. The Gimme More singer even accused her father of trying to kill her during her conservatorship. Although she is happy now that the conservatorship has ended, she said that she wants her father to suffer the consequences of his actions.
Britney Spears speaks out about her controversial conservatorship
Since 2008, the Oops I Did It Again singer has been in conservatorship under her father. Some events after her old marriage fell apart in 2008 led her into this situation. Her father controlled many aspects of her professional and personal life under a legal guardianship form called a conservatorship. In 2021, Jamie Spears stepped down as his daughter’s conservator due to medical reasons.
In the tweets released on Tuesday, Britney Spears released a voice note to describe the conservatorship. She described how she was made to go through 3 MRIs before going to “that place.” Although she did not describe the place any further it is speculated that she is probably talking about a mental health facility. Spears said, “I had three MRIs before I went to that place, I wasn’t complaining about anything, I was just told I had to go, it was my dad and I had no rights at the time, so I basically had to.”
When she was 8, she had once gone through MRI, and after that whenever she was forced to do MRIs she thought to herself that something is wrong with her.
The Toxic singer wants revenge on her father
The American singer wants her father to go through something similar to what she did. She mentioned how she wants Jaime Spears to feel what she felt for so long. She wrote, “take his car away … his home away … his door to privacy away … sit him down 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm being asked questions and people treating him like a science experience.”
The pop singer further continued to attack her father with her tweets.

The Criminal singer said she knows that she will probably never get her revenge. In spite of that, she is just happy with the fact that her conservatorship has ended.
