It’s hardly a week for the release of the epic Avengers: Endgame and we’re certain to see more of advertisements by Marvel for the film to build more hype. Some could be teasers and TV spots, while others may be posters. Some will also be imprinted on various products to make sure that we see Avengers everywhere. Out of all promos delivered to fans, one specific poster holds more regard than others. This takes fans’ Marvel nostalgia to its peak.
New Poster Reunites The Leading Three Of MCU
This past week on Tuesday, the official Twitter handle of Avengers shared a poster from Chris Skinner, which happens to be the first among the ten posters that will keep coming from now on till the film’s release on April 26. The poster bands along with the original Marvel Cinematic Universe trinity, revealing what they look at the present and what they looked like at the time of their onscreen debut.

“Here’s the first in a series of 10 exclusive posters inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame,” reads the tweet. “Art by [Chris Skinner]. See the film in theaters in 10 days.”
The poster features Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man with Avengers: Endgame written over it. Just below the trio, we see the original versions of the characters that debuted in the MCU. Here, you can see Thor with his old long hair and mighty Mjolnir, while Cap is still the tiny Steve Rogers and Iron Man is in the first suit he built to escape the cave in 2008’s Iron Man. This gives us a clear look at how much things have changed over the past ten years of MCU.
Marvel Playing With Nostalgia for marketing?
Marvel Studios is currently having fun at playing with the nostalgia theme, giving fans a ride to the past before the release of Avengers Endgame. A trailer also came out this past week that gave fans a brief look at the previous 21 films we have seen in MCU until now, where everything comes to a close with Thanos’ snap.
Avengers: Endgame will release on April 26.
