Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake is set to return in an all-new Uncharted poster, alongside a whole gallery of new photos from the upcoming video game film.

The new poster from Uncharted sees Tom Holland as Nathan Drake – the young fortune hunter in quest of one of the greatest treasures in the whole world. Alongside his mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg), Drake is set to embark on an adventure like none other.

Rather fitting then, that this new poster has some distinct Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes to it:

Alongside Wahlberg and Tom Holland, we also see Sophia Ali as a fellow hunter and love interest Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle who plays Braddock, and Antonio Banderas as the villain of the film and Nathan Drake’s competitor.

A new collection of images gives us a closer look at what fans can expect from Uncharted. Unfortunately, we do not have any new images of Sully’s iconic mustache yet.

However, what we do get is a glimpse of Drake’s first adventure and a quieter moment between Drake and Antonio Banderas’ villain as they peer into a glass cabinet that contains an artifact, looking a bit like the Cross of Coronado from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Seriously, it belongs in a museum, guys.

Uncharted is directed by Venom director Ruben Fleischer and is based on the popular PlayStation game franchise. While very little is known about Drake’s first big-screen adventure right now, the script of the film was written by Art Marcum, Rafe Judkins, and Matt Holloway.

Obviously, adventure is the name of the game, with the initial Uncharted trailer giving us a short glimpse at what one can expect. The movie is an origin story, with PS boss Jim Ryan revealing that this is “just the beginning” for the forthcoming adventure franchise. And with multiple references to the videogames, there’s a lot for fans to get really excited about.
