The production for the second Spider-Man film in the MCU is already underway and yesterday, some new images from the set of Far From Home surfaced online. The images don’t give off any major plot point but they do show a few interesting bits. Like, star Tom Holland and Zendaya are both apparently scared of pigeons!

Another picture shows Betty Brant, played by Angourie Rice holding hands with a person that we assume is Ned Leeds, played by actor Jacob Batalon. This could be a fun bid to the fact these characters actually get married in the Marvel comics.

Flash Thompson, portrayed by Tony Revolori can also be seen fashioning a new moustache and last but not the least, J.B. Smoove, who is the newest addition to the franchise, can also be seen with a group of students in the pictures. Smoove’s role has still not been confirmed by Marvel but these pictures do seem to reveal that he is going to be a part of the school group, whether be it a trip chaperone or teacher.

Earlier, Kevin Feige told comicbook.com that Far From Home will start right after the events of Avengers 4.

“Much like Ant-Man, there are things that people know about that movie, which is a great deal of the movie: the villain of the movie, the storyline of the film, that we’re shooting in Europe and that Peter Parker goes on continuing that [Captain America: Civil War] was a big giant super hero class movie.” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained to ComicBook.com. “The fall out of that in Homecoming was John Hughes and him going to his high school. So that’s what’s fun to us about the Spider-Man movies. And again going from Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp, the tonal shift. So, there’s a lot of fun stuff. How it connects, where it connects, when it takes place, very similar to Ant-Man and the Wasp in that we’re not gonna say right now.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home is slated to release on July 7, next year.
