A new set video from Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker film has surfaced once again, showing Phoenix in full clown disguise, this time having a bad day.

The video features Arthur Fleck (Joker) on a call inside a phone booth, only to get some bad news which brings him to tears. It appears that Fleck is having an emotional breakdown, sobbing from what he had just heard.

It looks much different from the initial test footage released that shows Phoenix in an eery, crazy light. There may be more to this particular scene that it looks, as if the film follows the Killing Joke storyline, this could be the breaking point in the comedian’s life. In the comic, Arthur takes on a job to rob a chemical plant and ends up falling into a huge vat of chemicals, turning into The Joker.

However, this is just a speculation and for now, this video has left fans wondering how the character will perform against the likes of Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson.

Joker is slated to release on October 4, 2019.
