NFL Legend Rob Grownkowski Trolls Tom Brady’s Thirst Trap Instagram Pic Covering His Private Parts: “His hand’s not in the right place… Gotta show the package”
Tom Brady gave quite a shock to fans and friends alike. And it was a good shock for a change, after a rather shocking year that he’s had. From retiring to unretiring to marital troubles and divorce, and finally retiring (who knows) for real this time. And now, he’s testing the waters in a new avenue, something that no one could have predicted for the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB – posting a so-called thirst trap.
Tom Brady and forgotten promises
In June last year, Tom Brady tweeted photos of models posing in underwear for the Brady Brand and promised that if his tweet got 40k likes, he would recreate those saucy pictures for his followers. His tweet read,
“40k likes and I’ll recreate these photos. Unrelated but can you guys send me some more of the socks @bradybrand”
Seven months later, the 45-year-old might have forgotten his words, but his eponymous brand did not. The brand tweeted reminding him of his pledge. Their tweet read,
“Hey @TomBrady, we haven’t forgotten about this.”
And the father of three had to give in and deliver on this promise.
Tom Brady ventures into the world of thirst traps
Brady posted a mirror selfie of himself sitting on his bed and wearing (most likely) Brady brand undies with his hands partly covering his crotch area. He captioned the Instagram story, “Deals a deal @bradybrand.” This being his first time posting a thirst trap, the former NFL athlete also referenced his former teammates, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski, asking them, “Did I do this right?”
While Edelman’s take on the whole thing is still awaited, Gronkowski gave quite an elaborate and lively response. He even had tips for Brady’s next photo in the undies series. Gronk was in conversation with Entertainment Tonight at Fox’s Sports Day when he joked about Brady and his latest picture.
Rob Gronkowski gives his two cents on Tom Brady’s undies picture
Gronkowski was quite critical of Brady in the most fun way possible, saying:
“I don’t think he did it right… his hand is not in the right place. He’s covering up a little bit. You’re not supposed to be covering up!”
As per the 33-year-old, Brady did not show what he was “supposed to be showing.” He further joked,
“You gotta show the package, Tom.”
The former New England Patriot star also shared how surprising it was for him to see the 7-times Super Bowl winner’s picture.
“It’s uncharacteristic of him, for sure. But that’s what we love about Tom. When he throws a curveball, it’s always for the fun and it’s always great to see him doing that.”
Fans were quite delighted as well and got quite the fun out of it as was apparent by the response that Brady’s photo got.
