“No Love, He’s Rather Models”: Selena Gomez Says She Was Too Normal for Justin Bieber in a Heartbreaking Confession

Beginning in 2011, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship for seven years. They last made an effort to make things work in November 2017, but they finally parted ways in March of the following year.

Justin and Hailey Bieber began dating just three months later. And by September 2018, they were officially married.

In her 2019 hit song, Lose You to Love Me, which describes the experience of a breakup leading to self-love, Gomez detailed her feelings regarding the breakup.

Now, recently, Gomez has publicly addressed the topic once more in response to a TikTok about her weight during her relationship with Justin Bieber.

Selena Gomez received a lot of attention for a viral video that explains why she appeared differently when she was dating her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber compared to how she does now.

The video featured clips of Gomez, now 30 years old, when she was younger and she was still dating the Lonely fame singer.

Even Gomez herself appears to have seen the video, too.

A screenshot of an old (undated) Instagram post appears at the conclusion of the video.

The following scene in the clip featured a screenshot of a previous Instagram comment Gomez had made, in which she claimed Bieber preferred to date “models.”

In response to a commenter who said Justin Bieber had “really messed up” under one of her older posts, Selena Gomez said: “No Love, He’s Rather Models”.

The meaning of Gomez’s comment was unclear to many of the people who responded to her tweet.

Was she making a comment about how Bieber’s preference made her feel self-conscious about her appearance?

Gomez never clarified the meaning of her comment, but it has since received over 4.1 million views and received over 3200 responses.

People bombarded her comments with arguments for and against her decision to post the comment, as well as criticism of some Baldwin fans who were sending her hate mail.

Gomez admitted to her fluctuating weight gain and said she didn’t feel good about her body.

She took to her TikTok Story a year later, in April 2022, to discuss how frequently people remarked on her weight.
