Tom Holland is really excited to finally be able to talk everything about No Way Home that he’s been keeping a secret for so long. The recently released film, which opened in theaters last week, saw Tom Holland’s Peter Parker ask Doctor Strange to use a spell and make everyone forget that he’s Spider-Man. When the spell goes terribly wrong, various characters from the multiverse enter into the MCU, including villains like Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sandman, Lizard, and Electro, alongside their respective Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

No Way Home is the biggest film of this year!

No Way Home is out in theaters now!

Although Maguire and Garfield’s presence has been rumored for long due to a leaked set video featuring the two and various other clues, Marvel Studios kept an extremely tight lid on their involvement in the film until No Way Home’s premiere, not even showcasing them in promotional materials. For Tom Holland, who is known for being loose-lipped about MCU spoilers, this must have been torture. While appearing in an interview recently, Holland even compared keeping the film’s secrets to being a member of DC’s Suicide Squad, with a chip in his neck that will trigger an explosion if he ends up making a mistake.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about the commercial and critical success of No Way Home, Holland went on to express his relief about finally being able to talk about spoilers. He says that he, Maguire, and Garfield “had one of the most incredible experiences working together,” and that their shared experience on the sets of Spider-Man made them feel like a family. He says it was “the highlight of [his] career” and he’d like to “keep talking about this movie.” Read the full quote below:

It will also be nice to start talking about the film now that everyone has seen it! There’s so many stories I haven’t told because it’s all been a secret. You know, Andrew [Garfield] and Tobey [Maguire] and I had one of the most incredible experiences working together. We’re the only three people to have ever played this character on the big screen, and that creates this brotherhood, this friendship, that goes past just knowing each other.

We have a shared experience that only us three have, and because of that connection, the relationship that we had on set — I’m sure it comes across on screen — was like we were long-lost brothers. And I want to talk about it. Honestly, it was the highlight of my career. Put me on stage in front of a thousand people. I have so much to tell that I haven’t been allowed to. I’d love to keep talking about this movie.

Holland might have exhausted his non-Garfield/Maguire on-set stories during his promotional tour, but the 25-year old clearly has a fresh stock of gushing to do.

This will be a huge boon for No Way Home as the movie is already a phenomenon at the box office worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing U.S. movie of this year in just six days. As soon as Tom Holland can be let loose on giving out the spoilers, this will most likely garner a new wave of ticket sales, boosting the film into the stratosphere to become the highest-grossing Spider-Man ever, even having the chances of competing with Endgame, the only movie to which No Way Home has consistently fallen short in the box office.
