Tom Holland is known for giving out spoilers and now he might have just revealed the opening scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home while appearing on The Graham Norton Show.

Tom Holland revealed that the film will continue from where Far From Home left us, right after the big revelation by Mysterio regarding Peter’s secret Spider-Man identity to the whole world.  “What’s cool about this film is it picks up right after the second one finishes,” Holland said. “So the second one finishes with a freeze-frame of Spider-Man, the third one starts with the same freeze-frame.”

While not much has been revealed by Marvel about the plot details of No Way Home, the events that took place at the end of Far From Home will impact Peter’s decision to ask for Doctor Strange’s help to make everything back to normal for him. However, the spell used by Strange goes berserk, breaking the multiverse and allowing various villains from old Spider-Man films to enter the world of MCU.

For obvious reasons, the film is highly anticipated and is projected to have the biggest opening of the year. Right now, the prediction says that No Way Home could be the first pandemic era movie to make $100 million in its opening weekend, however, some even predict that it could reach $200 million, something that only Endgame has done in 2019. Demand for tickets for No Way Home is at an all-time high, with several sites even crashing while people tried to book their tickets.

The runtime for the film is officially confirmed at 150 minutes, while Sony and Marvel are currently zipped about providing any other information regarding the film although reports of various leaks from the film keep on hoarding. As per the recent reports, the press screenings will just show 40 minutes of the film to reporters which will be enough for journalists to have some information on their hands.

Earlier, both Tom Holland and director Jon Watts teased the scale of the film, even comparing it with that of Endgame. “We’re definitely trying to be ambitious,” Watts said in a previous interview“When I was first pitched the idea, I was like, ‘Wow, that would be awesome if we could pull it off… But there’s just no way it’s going to work,” Holland said in the same interview. “You’re just not going to be able to get everyone to do what they need to do. It’s just not going to happen.’ But it did happen. And it’s crazy.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit the theaters on December 17.
