This sentiment is echoed by Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times, who wrote, “Some 17 years after McGregor was last seen as Obi-Wan, he brings more depth, more of world-weary wisdom to the role. It’s commanding work.” That said, some critics are levying criticism against the show, like Brian Tallerico of RogerEbert.com. “This kind of forgettable storytelling just doesn’t last like the properties that inspired it,” he wrote.
