At Star Wars Celebration 2022, Christensen spoke with IGN on how important it is for the crew behind Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi Series to keep faithful to Darth Vader’s history.

“Because this is a character that existed before I was even alive there was a continuity there that we needed to adhere to,” Christensen said. “So I think we all felt it was very important to get that right. Deborah [Chow] had a Vader [Movement Specialist] on set for us to make sure we stay true to the Vader we know and love.“
