In the past, various celebrities have faced backlash on social media for crossing their line and commenting about the issues that hurt the sentiments of their fans. Adding to the same list is Britney Spears. As the Grammy winner is going through turmoil in her personal life, the recent comments made on Instagram is heavily discussed and trashed. With Britney Spears being vocal about her thoughts on social media, her recent post did not receive decent reception.

After posting about her kids and replying to their comments on her using social media to seek attention, Britney Spears has been vocal about her mental health. Adding to her regular posts,  she shared a quote attributed to Rodney Dangerfield on her feed. As Britney Spears intended to share it positively, she captioned the post by writing, “I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small”. Amongst her 42 Million followers, many commented and asked her to take down the post. “Thiiiis issss not cool .. yikes”, said a user while expressing their disappointment. Another user added, “Britney… body shaming is out.”

Britney Spears made clear that she does not mind offending people

The post came after she lamented her thoughts about her kids and their related controversies. However, Britney Spears made it clear in a previous post which said, “offended ?? Don’t watch me!”. In a deleted voice memo post, the singer also cleared she does not mind offending other people as she has felt “offended” her whole life.

Back in March 2022, Britney Spears lamented her thoughts about her physical appearance in a (deleted) Instagram post. While sharing a long caption, the singer revealed she considered getting a “B**b Job” after being body shamed by her estranged father, Jamie Spears. However, this recent post has questioned how Britney Spears can be so insensitive and post about body-shaming.
