This past Monday marked the removal of the spoiler ban by Anthony and Joe Russo on Avengers: Endgame. This means that everyone is now finally allowed to talk about the events of the film. This includes the likes of Marvel and Sony, as the duo released the trailer of Spiderman: Far from home which was brimming with Endgame spoilers. The new trailer gives fans a glimpse at how the post Endgame world looks like, taking Peter Parker’s story in an alternate direction.
Spiderman: Far From Home will explore Spidey in a different city
Peter Parker isn’t in his neighbourhood this time around, and he will face a threat like never before this time. He’s tasked by Nick Fury and his ally Mysterio with facing the new threat, which comes as three elemental monsters.
The origin of these three elementals is yet to be explained through the trailers but Spiderman director Jon Watts was recently questioned about these monsters during an interview with Fandango. As per the filmmaker, they come from the very dimension as Mysterio.
“Yes, exactly. Exactly. They’re both from the same sort of parallel dimension, yeah,” Watts said.
Thanos Created an alternate dimension!
This alternate reality is revealed during the newly released trailer on Monday. When Peter Parker is introduced to Mysterio by Nick Fury, he stated that the snap by Thanos created an alternate dimension. Mysterio hails from that very dimension and he has found his way on Earth to try saving his.
This does sound very complicated but it may not be. The villain Mysterio is known for masking the truth and creating illusion. There’s a chance that he could be lying to Peter and Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home and it’s possible he doesn’t belong to an alternate reality at all.
We can’t tell what’s in store for Spider-Man when he arrives alongside Mysterio but it’s certain that the elemental creatures will create some challenge for Spider-Man in the film.
