YES, The suit worn by Robert Downey Jr. in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man (2008) has reportedly been stolen from Movie Prop Storage in Pacoima, LA. The suit is valued at $325,000 and the workers estimate the time of burglary between February and April 25.
Los Angeles Police Department Sargent Barry Montgomery confirmed to Los Angeles Times that a burglary has been reported. “The storage facility reported that a prop has gone missing. We’re considering it as a burglary,” Montgomery said.
The prop storage facility is located Weidner St. The suit was the first worn by Robert Downey Jr. ten years ago with the first Iron Man movie which was also the time when the Marvel Cinematic Universe was in it’s infant stages. The news of the burglary coincides with Infinity War breaking box office records and becoming the highest grossing film in the world.
