Peacemaker: 5 Things That Fans Want To See

Fans and viewers never expected John Cena’s Peacemaker series to come anytime soon –because the character just made its debut in the DCEU with The Suicide Squad. With that being said, Peacemaker is heading towards its official release on HBO Max from January 13, 2022, and these are the 5 things that fans want to see –

Peacemaker Should Continue Playing A Baddie

Viewers after watching The Suicide Squad really don’t want the upcoming series to go in a different direction with Peacemaker. Precisely, the makers should not turn John Cena’s Peacemaker into a heroic character. He is a villain and should remain that way because fans loved Peacemaker the way he was in The Suicide Squad. Moreover, it’d be even more interesting if the series echoes that Peacemaker is now trying to do something that’d make him good and help others but eventually showing the real face at the end.

Peacemaker Should Stop Following Waller’s Order

There isn’t any doubt that Rick Flag’s death was perhaps one of the most shocking parts of The Suicide Squad. He died because of the fact that Peacemaker was loyal to Amanda Waller. In this regard, fans really want the Peacemaker to follow his own conscience and instincts instead of just following Waller’s orders. With that being said, if this happens, it’d bring a significant amount of changes in the Peacemaker’s personality.

Peacemaker Should Fight A Villain Worse Than Him

Fans really want to see quite some DC Extended Universe characters in Peacemaker and some of them should include the villains as well. Precisely, the key behind the success of a backstory is a villain or antagonist who is worse than the titular character. Now that the Peacemaker has killed Flag, many haters are willing to kill him. Thus, he could easily play under a sympathetic light where some other villain is trying to kill him. Now that he’ll have a tragic background too, it is going to be worth watching the series pulling it all off together.

It Should Be All About The Baddie’s Perspective

Viewers and fans are quite done with the cinema and media portraying the stories of good guys all the time. With that being said, now is the time that the makers should reflect a story from a villain’s perspective. Precisely, instead of making the Peacemaker a simple anti-hero plot, the makers should depict the story of the baddie from the very beginning to finish. In this way, the Peacemaker will manage to stay within its villainous boundary without interrupting the redemption story.

It Must Include A Funny Tone

Last but not least, Peacemaker was one of the funniest characters of The Suicide Squad. With that being said, the upcoming series should also continue the same style because fans really don’t want the character to get out of its comic book genre. Moreover, even MCU has introduced the comedic angle in their series and films and that is exactly what the new-age audiences are enjoying.
