Possible Character Appearances In Doctor Strange 2
Doctor Strange 2, or Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the most anticipated movie after Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie’s teaser was included in No Way Home’s second post-credit scene sending the MCU fans into a frenzy. While No Way Home certainly set the standards too high, Doctor Strange 2 is all set to raise the bar even higher. Benedict Cumberbatch is all set to bring his A-game to the table, accompanied by Elizabeth Olsen and the rest. Speaking of the characters, let’s talk about the possible character appearances that we can see in Doctor Strange 2. Check it out!
Loki/Sylvie
One of the most awaited team-ups that the fans are waiting for is that of Loki and Doctor Strange. We have already seen their brief interaction where the God of Mischief was falling for 30 minutes straight. However, a majority of fans believe that Loki and even Sylvie will cross paths with Doctor Strange in the movie because Strange is exploring the multiverse.
Billy & Tommy Maximoff
In the second post-credit scene of WandaVision, Wanda was shown as Scarlet Witch in the astral plane. Just a second before cutting the shot, fans could her sons calling out to her. Considering that Strange approaches Wanda for help and asks about the multiverse, there’s a high possibility that fans would get to see Billy and Tommy too.
The Ancient One & Kaecilius
It is very much possible that Mads Mikkelson’s Kaecilius makes a comeback because mind you, he is not dead. He is a part of the Dark Dimension enjoying the so-called Eternal life. On the other hand, The Ancient One could also make an appearance if Strange comes across a variant of hers while travelling through the multiverse.
Deadpool
Deadpool is in the MCU and everyone knows that. It was more than confirmed that Ryan Reynolds announced that a Deadpool project is in the works and Feige announced that the movie will retain the R-rated standing. In the post-credit scene of Deadpool 2, Wade was seen using Cable’s time travelling device which makes his cameo very likely.
Mr Fantastic
The Fantastic Four is coming to the MCU and it is an event worth waiting for. Even though Mr Fantastic’s cameo in Doctor Strange 2 might seem like a big shot but it could happen. Knowing that the character is coming to the MCU, the movie might just end up introducing the character as well.
Professor X
It is very likely that the MCU might introduce the Illuminati after all. If that happens, then Professor X is definitely showing up in the movie alongside Doctor Strange and could be the perfect way to introduce the mutants which we know are coming. It could be Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy playing the character.
Agatha Harkness
The only character that seems sure would appear is Agatha Harkness. During the climactic battle of WandaVision, the Scarlet Witch decided to keep Agatha alive. Before all this, Agatha made it clear that Wanda will, at a point in time, need Agatha’s help. It is very much possible that Wanda will approach her during the events of the movie.
Captain Carter
Captain Carter was first introduced in What If…? We saw her fight a tentacled creature which was also seen in the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
