Red Dead Redemption will feature the biggest open world map Rockstar Games have ever created, bigger that GTA 5.

This exciting news comes from Playstation Access, who confired other interesting and atest tidbids about the upcoming western open-world game.

By far, the news of the game having the bigger open world map than GTA 5 has been the most the most interesting aspect of the game so far, the fact that it takes a decent amount of time in GTA 5 to travel around the whole map and considering another fact that you’ll move much slower in Red Dead Redemption 2 compared to GTA 5 – Vehicles vs. Horses, makes this game even more crazy.

Considering all those things, this game is definitely going to take a decent chunk of players time in order for them to fully explore the open world.

Red Dead Redemption’s map while being big in size will also be extremely dense, interactive and really dynamic almost true to reality. The game’s world is, reportedly, not just 500 miles long but 500 miles deep too, jam packed with fun things to do, new characters to discover and interact with.

For example, if you kill some bandits on a hillside, their bodies will remain there and not rot before they are eaten by scavengers and vultures until only the bones of that person remains there, this is unlike the classic open world game where bodies would just disappear.

Red Dead Redemption is set to release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 25, later this year.
