Who would have thought that the former singer Bob Marley who stood up against racism, would one day be linked somewhere near to it? His granddaughter Selah Marley has been under fire for supporting American rapper Kanye West’s White Lives Matter stunt during his Yeezy fashion show in Paris. The American fashion model-singer has worked for several brands including Chanel and Ivy Park.

The 45-year-old rapper, Kanye West made yet another headline with his brand Yeezy due to an outfit he wore at his Yeezy fashion show which was held in Paris.

Showcasing his Season 9 collection, a few of the models apart from him were also spotted wearing the same.

For the unversed, the phrase White Lives Matter is to counter the Black Lives Matter phrase which was used to protest against brutality, as a hate statement.

However, this is not the first time that the fashion mogul was called out for some controversial stuff regarding the Black community.

The 23-year-old Selah Marley, daughter of Lauryn Hill, has been garnering attention after she decided to wear a black sweatshirt with White Lives Matter written across it. She posted a video showcasing herself in West’s Yeezy fashion show talking with the rapper.

Back in 2017, she stated him as one of her models who proved it by writing the caption, “Love you Kanye West” along with the video.

She is under fire for choosing to support West at his show with fans on Twitter stating their opinions on the same.

The fans have shown disappointment with the model who represented differently from what her grandfather was fighting against. Though it is yet to be known whether this controversial apparel would be a part of the new fashion line, Ye had landed himself into serious trouble.
