In a recent Endgame quarantine watch party, Russo brothers joined together with Robert Downey Jr hinted the return of IronMan in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Because we do have a lot of fun working on these things together. Everyone has a lot of fun, you get real close to each other and then you miss it. Maybe we’ll have to do it again someday,” said Endgame co-director Joe Russo during this particular soiree.

Moreover, to make it more interesting, Robert Downey Jr added that the people would move him toward what they want. Previously, it was reported that the actor is willing to take a pay-cut to return to MCU.

But according to the directors, the return could possibly be in line with the MCU’s storyline.

A surprise comeback??

Russo said that they couldn’t merely bring him back, and there should be an innovative, unpredictable narrative event to make a comeback memorable and surprising. He shared this idea on a recent podcast organized by Reel Blend.

Kevin Feige announced that he is open to suggestions from fans

Kevin Feige has previously said that Marvel is active in listening to the opinions of their fans. So fans can unitedly insist on bringing their beloved Genius, Billionaire back.

So, despite the enigmatic reply by Joe Russo, he might be addressing fans to start asking for the return of Iron Man.
