Robert Downey Jr. made an appearance at The Howard Stern Show on Monday, for the launch of new Los Angeles studios of Sirius XM. However, before he went on air with Stern, he had a heated exchange with an executive in the green room.

The actor was watching the show on TV when a Hollywood executive rudely asked him to get out of the way.

In the actor’s own words, it went like this “I was just standing out there … standing in front of the TV screen when this little nebbish big-wig says, “Out of the way!”

Downey answered saying that he and his team were just watching the show, to which he received another rude response “Who the f**k are you?”

While talking about this incident on-air with Stern, Downey joked that ‘going to have to light’ the man up.

Fans and Downey’s Marvel collaborators were championing the actor’s role in Avengers: Endgame for an Oscar nomination. The actor himself has no interest in an Oscar campaign for his role. Stern expressed his feelings about the same saying that he thought the performance was excellent and the character believable. Downey simply responded saying “I’m so glad you brought this up because there was some talk about [an Oscar campaign],” also adding, “And I said, ‘Let’s not.’”
