Back in 2008, Kevin Feige and Jon Favreau took a leap of faith with Robert Downey Jr. as their choice for Tony Stark in Iron Man.

Previously fired from Ally McBeal in the wake of two drug charges, Robert Downey Jr. had troubles with his drug addiction which led to his conviction.

With sheer will power, he beat his addiction and returned to his first blockbuster movie in Iron Man, thus kickstarting the MCU.

Having stayed sober since 2003 now, Robert Downey Jr. is an inspiration to many troubled kids and adults across the world.

His story of relapsing into the world of drugs and alcohol and his path of recovery is nothing short of heroic.

If that was not inspiring enough, Robert Downey Jr. once surprised a kid with a bionic arm, re-affirming that there will never be another Iron Man-like him.

In association with the non-profit charity Limbless Solutions, RDJ stayed in character as Tony Stark to surprise Alex.

Astonished with their meeting, Alex was speechless when he met Iron Man himself.

Presenting himself as a bionic expert alongside the leading expert from Limbitless Solutions, RDJ ensured that Alex would remember this day for the rest of his life.

After Alex was fitted with a 3-D printed bionic arm stylized like Iron Man’s armor, RDJ brought out his robotic arm for an epic fist-bump with little Alex.

RDJ also went as far as to talk about a little ‘technical glitch’ in his robotic arm due to a blinking light.

In a marriage of two robotic arms, little Alex dropped an appreciation for Albert, a tech-enthusiast who made it possible to create affordable bionic limbs for kids like Alex.

As a part of The Collective Project, Albert Manero and RDJ made it possible that little Alex got his bionic arm to make his life a little easier.

If you’re still reeling over the death of Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame, this will only get more onion-cutting ninjas in your kitchen.

On his Facebook page, RDJ posted a video where he called Alex “the most dapper 7-year old I’ve ever met”. Go home everyone, Robert Downey Jr. won the internet, again.
