If we talk about progress, then one Hollywood star has certainly come a long way. Starting his career in the Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson has come a long way from being a pretty face. Why do we say that? Well, because he has given us some serious content such as TenetThe LighthouseThe Lost City of Z, etc., and is now making his way to the superhero realm. While he is all ready to play Bruce Wayne in The Batman, the initial reviews are straight-up marvelous. However, the actor was pretty shocked when he learned that The Batman is rated PG-15 in the UK. Check out his hilarious reaction!

The lead actors, Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz are hard at work with the promotion of the film. In one such interview with Cameron Frew of Unilad, the Twilight actor learned that The Batman is rated PG-15 in the UK. He promptly said,  “No way. What happened?” Pattinson says, smiling. “I didn’t even know. Oh, no. It’s a disaster!,” While he was joking about the latter part, he was genuinely concerned about the fact that kids under 15 won’t be able to see the movie in the cinema. Check out the hilarious clip in the movie:

The Batman is the first movie after Batman Returns which was surprisingly changed to 12A. However, when Pattinson was told this, he was again surprised. So, it’s safe to say that Matt Reeves’ The Batman is the first Batman movie to earn such a rating. The Caped Crusader is coming to the big screen in a solo movie after exactly 10 years, after Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012).

While Pattinson was shocked, it doesn’t come as a big shocker for us. Moreover, the movie has been marketed as a heavy and gory flick so getting a PG-15 isn’t a big event. Pattinson is all set to shake the superhero world with this movie and we hope we see him don the outfit again and again. What do you think about the PG-15 Rating? Let us know!
