‘Romance is Dead, Love is Cancelled’: Fans Devastated After Gilmore Girls Star Lauren Graham Breaks Up With Peter Krause
The Hollywood industry is currently going through quite a rough time in terms of relationships as the Parenthood Star Peter Krause and Lauren Graham are reported to have ended their relationship. This is not the first split Hollywood is going through though the ex-couple was together for a decade, but what’s the reason behind their separation?
Their news of separation was confirmed by the representative of the Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham who met Krause for the first time in the year 1995 while appearing in the NBC sitcom Caroline in the City.
Hollywood Star Lauren Graham and Peter Krause Ended Their Relationship
Graham’s representative shared that “the couple quietly ended their relationship last year.”
The duo became friends in 1995 but did not start dating until they joined the award-winning drama Parenthood in 2010 where they were cast as siblings Sarah and Adam Braverman. In a 2010 interview with Redbook Graham shared her working experience of working stating, “One of the things that’s been so fun is that it’s so easy. It’s a lot, to work with somebody and spend time with them, too.”
Their relationship was kept private for a long time however Graham opened up about her romance stating, “Nobody knew about it for a while because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out. I’ve also been really protective of it because it’s important that you can buy us as brother and sister on the show.”
Though the duo is rarely seen in public, Krause made a cameo as a park ranger on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life which starred Graham.
Why did Lauren Graham and Peter Krause Got Separated?
Since 2018, Krause has worked in the hit Fox drama 9-1-1 while Graham was filming in Canada during the pandemic and the couple spent five months apart.
In April 2021, Graham appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she stated, “I think the re-entry was more difficult. It was more like they were the married couple, and I was the person who … they were like, ‘We don’t do it that way anymore.’ They were like, ‘No, no, no, this is how things happen.’”
