Marvel Studios is looking at three possible ways to introduce Deadpool to its cinematic universe
According to MCU Cosmic, Marvel Studios is looking at three possible ways to be able to introduce Deadpool to its cinematic universe. The first two ways see the Merc With a Mouth debuting , either in his own solo movie or a Disney+ series. However, the possibility of him “guest-starring” in the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home is also being considered by all. MCU Cosmic makes clear, at this time, these rumors are unconfirmed.
At this time, it’s not totally clear how Marvel Studios will integrate Deadpool following its acquisition from 21st Century Fox. Disney CEO Bob Iger has said there’s a possibility Wade Wilson’s solo films will remain Rated-R. However, there’s no guarantee Marvel won’t opt for its standard PG-13 rating, despite the foul-mouthed hero’s popularity.
