Breaking Bad feature film might be on its way.

Just a few days after AMC announced a Walking Dead feature film with Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes, Albuquerque Journal has stated that Breaking Bad is also doing the same.

As reported by the paper, the film is operating under the name “Greenbrier” which centres around a kidnapped man making an escape.

We still don’t know if members of the original Breaking Bad will return for the film, but given that Walter White died in the last season, chances are that the story will revolve around his son or ex-partner, Jesse Pinkman.

Actor Ryan Cranston addressed the revival of the series earlier at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con.

The talk of the series’ revival has come up again and again since 2013. The series spun off into Better Call Saul.

“We’re very proud of our show and Better Call Saul. In some ways, it’s best to leave it alone – that you want to think back on it favorably,” Cranston said. “I don’t want to mess with it. It was the perfect opportunity that changed all of our lives. It changed many lives on our show.

Series Creator Vince Gilligan teased fans with cameos throughout the first three seasons of Better Call Saul and feels that the show has a lot of characters like Jesse to have more spin-off series.

“I think there’s an excellent chance of any or all of these folks showing up…[but] you will not see Walt or Jesse in Season 4 of Better Call Saul.”
