Shakira, Pique Reportedly Don’t Want Breakup to Turn into Depp-Heard Trial 2.0, Working Towards Peaceful Compromise Over Kids’ Custody
Gerard Pique and Shakira have been in the news for almost about a month now since the pop star found Pique cheating on her and decided to split up after 12 years of being together. Despite initial reports, it seems like the storm between them has calmed down quite a bit. They are now focusing on splitting up in a friendly and calm way. Since both of them only want the best for their children, it seems like they are trying to find a peaceful way out of all this conundrum.

The Ex-Couple is looking for a Way to Get Around this Without Any Legal Proceedings
The former couple has reportedly spoken to each other after consulting with their lawyers to find a way for the custody of their kids without any legal proceedings. They are most probably doing this to avoid any media storm as the Depp-Heard trial did. They believe it will not be in the best interest of their kids and their well-being. The whole world would be watching this trial and they would gain bad publicity from it and will make their kids’ lives tougher.

Shakira looking to share the Custody of the Kids
The ex-couple has 2 boys, 9-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha. As the initial reports suggested, the singer was looking for full custody of the kids. But, now she has offered to share the custody despite still wanting them to move to Miami.

The current offer she has put forward to Pique was that the kids would stay with her in Miami. And she would provide Pique with five first-class tickets to him throughout the year so that he can visit them whenever he wants. Shakira’s generous offer also included some help to cover the Barcelona footballer some of his debts.
