Shang-Chi: Meng’er Zhang Revealed How She Fell In Love On The Sets Of Marvel Studios!
As Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings got released, it managed to win hearts and become one of the most loved Marvel movies.
It is not that all the characters are incredible in the movie but the fight sequels are simply stunning. But everything fell apart when Meng-er Zhang appeared on screen as Xialing.
Every other Marvel Cinematic Universe must have left the theatre learning everything there is to acknowledge about the entire cast of Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings. With that said, there is yet another story that will make every other MCU fell in love with the film. It is an adorable story of how Meng’er and Yung Lee fell in love with each other while filming Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings.
Yung has the Xialing action figure in his pocket and when asked about the same on the red carpet, he echoed, “I gotta keep her close to my heart.”
Lee was one of the action designers for Marvel and he met Meng’er on the sets of Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings. In a recent interview, Meng’er joked about it by saying “I was cast single and left married!” “We didn’t prepare anything for our marriage celebration, but the production threw a big party for us to celebrate”, she added.
The couple also revealed that Simu Liu and Awkwafina helped to make the wedding celebration even special. They revealed it by saying, “The next day, Simu took us to Disneyland, and the next, next day, Awkwafina booked a whole venue for us to celebrate. We had a big karaoke party and everyone was there; everyone sang. The next day, we all lost our voices.” “It was really an amazing memory. We were like a big family”, the couple added.
Yung later posted some pictures from their wedding ceremony and it made fans go super crazy! He captioned the pictures as “No engagement, no proposal, no ring, just love. Because it’s the only thing that really matters in marriage!”
“The love you give me is so pure, innocent, and without a speck of hesitation or doubt. I can always be my complete dumb self with you, without judgment or fear of rejection. We sing the same song in our hearts, we ride the same wavelength.”
At last, the couple even posted a picture with a Funko Pop wedding cake and that was the greatest thing ever.
