Warner Bros has already scheduled a release date for the sequel of Aquaman starring Jason Momoa, but Marvel Studios almost had all fans convinced that the preview of Aquaman’s second film was released officially. However, the Aquaman 2 preview was cut short by Shazam! starring Zachary Levi, as we see him transforming the text from “The King Shall Reign” to “The Kid shall Reign”.
Aquaman 2 Teaser Actually Teases Shazam!
Here’s the official tease of Aquaman 2 and Shazam!:
The scheduled release date of Aquaman 2 is set to be in December 16, 2022 but fans will be watching Shazam hitting the theaters this week.
Here’s the official synopsis for Shazam!:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).
Shazam is helmed by David F. Sandberg and stars Zachary Levi as Billy Batson/Shazam, Asher Angel, Jack Grazer, Mark Strong, Ian Chen, Marta Milans and Ron Cephas.
Shazam! will hit the theaters on April 5.
