The American singer, Lana Del Rey is not a newbie when it comes to smoking cigarettes as she was frequently photographed smoking in public.
She has been involved in major controversies that affected her music career a lot however to think, that she would directly affect the quality of music she offers to her fans was quite unexpected.
The 37-year-old singer back in June 2014, was accused of affecting her performance by smoking and chewing gum in front of her audience on-stage. During her Paradise Tour in Sweden, she performed at BrÄvalla Festival 2014 in Norrköping.
She was spotted puffing away on a cigarette while performing her song Summertime Sadness from her second studio album, Born to Die (2012).

The singer was slammed by fans for not giving her best in the 2014 BrÄvalla Festival performance and was rather spotted chewing gum and smoking in front of the audience waiting for her anticipated vocals.
That video clip resurfaced this week with fans furious over her past actions and blaming the singer for her act. They went to Twitter and shared their opinions on the same.

This is not the first time she tried something in her concerts. Back in 2012, she was spotted with a lit cigarette as she performed at the EurockĂ©ennes Festival, which is one of Franceâs biggest music events.
She received backlash for that event as well. Although the 2014 performance did receive criticism, her Paradise Tour lasted over eighteen months and visited four continents. That was her second concert tour in support of her third extended play, Paradise.
She has recently collaborated with Taylor Swift in the latter’s new album, Midnights with the track, Snow on the Beach.Â
