“She lacked any sense of humour”- Meghan Markle Received Harsh Criticism From Prince Harry’s Friends After Their First Interaction
Prince Harry’s friends were not impressed with Meghan Markle when they first spent time together. They thought he was completely out of his mind for dating a girl like her. The royal went to the prestigious Eton College when he was growing up and introduced Meghan Markle to his friends from school in 2016.
It was a shooting event at the Sandringham country estate, and she ended up rebuking her friends for jokes about sexism, feminism, and transgender people. The revelations were made after The Sun obtained extracts of the book being written by British journalist Tom Bower, titled Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors.

The group at Sandringham included 16 of Harry’s friends along with their wives and girlfriends.
“Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values,” the book claims.
“According to Harry’s friends, again and again, she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt.”
The reaction from Meghan apparently caught Harry off guard and, in the end, his friends concluded that she was a “dampener on the party” and that he was “f**king nuts” for being in a relationship with her.
“She lacked any sense of humor,” the book reads.
“Driving home after Sunday lunch, the texts pinged between the cars: ‘OMG, what about HER?‘”

There was another time when Meghan clashed with the friends of her now-husband. There was a trip to Jamaica in 2017 for the wedding of Harry’s close childhood friend. It is claimed that she barely interacted with the other guests at the wedding, behaved “princessy” and chose to make remarks about the food. Meghan has divided public opinion between Britain ever since her relationship with Harry became public knowledge; leading them to distance themselves from the Royal Family and receive a lot of criticism from the press.
