In an interview last year, the Live With Kelly and Ryan‘s host confessed to using her husband’s charismatic appearance so that a renowned pop star would continue following her on her social media platform.

In a 2022 appearance on the Everything Iconic podcast, the 52-year-old co-host, Kelly Ripa opened up about posting more shirtless pictures of her husband Mark Consuelos just for one fan who followed her on Instagram. It was none other than, the Queen of Pop, Madonna!
In the hopes of getting garnering some attention from the influential personality, she confessed to the host, Danny Pellegrino about the same.
“That happened to me when Madonna followed me and Isaac Boots told me. He’s like, ‘Oh my god. Madonna followed you and I was like, ‘What? What? What?!’ and I immediately sort of changed everything I posted.”
She continued to have changed her social media feed strategy as she believed that the singer would have wanted to see her “eye candy” rather than her children.
“I started posting only shirtless photos of Mark because I was like, ‘Madonna doesn’t want to see my kids. She wants to see eye candy.'”
She continued,
“My thought bubbles of Madonna following me and me feeding her something was like, forget anybody else.”
Even though she changed her strategy to make her husband in the spotlight, no one can deny the intense chemistry the pair owns in the industry.

The 26-year-old relationship between the pair is still going strong. In last year’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the author has once shared why she never gets tired of getting intimate with her husband. For the unversed, the TV personality has been very vocal about her personal life and has even opened up about it in her memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories.
In the episode, she shared that the duo has intense chemistry “[Because] the woman comes first.” She further added that the spouse engages in the intimate activity “like bunnies” and he “pleases [her] over and over.”
The duo met on the sets of All My Children in the 1990s and tied the knot in 1996. They share three children, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.
