Ben Affleck’s ex-partner Jennifer Garner has been overly supportive of the actor. Sources claim Jennifer Garner is happy that Jennifer Lopez has taken Ben Affleck off her hands but it always seems like she tries to enter Affleck’s life again and again. They split in 2017 ending their 12-year-long marriage. The actress has done a lot for Ben Affleck and still looks after him. Her overly protective behavior sometimes feels like an intervention in Ben Affleck’s new marriage.
Jennifer Garner wasn’t present at their wedding
While the former couple’s children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel all were present at their dad’s wedding, Jennifer Garner was nowhere to be found. It’s not clear whether she was even invited or not. A source said, “I’m sure she’s thrilled to get rid of her fourth child,” talking about everything Garner has done for Ben Affleck.
She will always support him and her kids
A source close to the ex-couple talked about how Jennifer Garner will always look after Ben Affleck and their kids and addressed Ben Affleck as her “fourth child,”
“Jen has always approached things the same, no matter who Ben has been with,” said one insider. “They have kids together — so if he has another episode, or falls off the wagon, it would be her problem. Jen is a great mother, she has really mothered those kids — and it’s great that she doesn’t have to have a fourth child anymore.”
Ben Affleck’s nature could cause problems in his new marriage as well and Jennifer Garner’s overly protective behavior sometimes feels like an intervention in Ben Affleck’s new marriage.

A source recently said Jennifer Garner’s friends were furious when Ben Affleck told Howard Stern that he “would probably still be drinking had he remained married to her.” One of her friends criticized him, “Anyone who knows addict behavior knows how untrue those comments could be for any addict, but particularly Ben. It’s one of the first tenets of AA not to place blame for your disease.”
A source said at the time, “I know that Jen will always care for Ben. All she’s ever done is be there for Ben. They have three kids together and she loved him with all her heart. I’m sure she would want him to be happy, but she has her own life and her own boyfriend.”
