Shia LaBeouf Chased Down Paparazzi to Teach Him a Lesson, Poured Hot Coffee On Him Mercilessly as Passers-by Looked On Haplessly

Shia LaBeouf is one of the biggest Hollywood names and a very well-established actor overall. In the past, he has had some famous run-ins with paparazzi and has had some trouble dealing with them. The Transformers actor now constantly tries to avoid the paparazzi by wearing weird outfits and masks so that they cannot recognize him. He has had some very angry and violent run-ins with his paparazzi in the past. Today, we look back at one of the famous ones from 2010, the coffee incident.

Shia LaBeouf’s coffee incident with a paparazzi from 2010

Back in 2010, the Lawless actor was in Washington DC and was shooting for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the 3rd sequel in the Transformers franchise. Shia LaBeouf was at an outside cafe drinking his coffee when he saw an older gentleman prying on him and photographing him. What went through the actor’s mind is still a mystery but he decided to teach the paparazzi a lesson.

He got up, gathered his things and coffee, and started walking towards the paparazzi briskly. As the paparazzi saw him coming, he started running. The actor started chasing him down and when was within reach he poured his hot coffee into the back of the man’s shirt. LeBeouf continued to run and just high-tailed out of there as the people all around just watched.

The Eagle Eye actor has always had trouble dealing with the paparazzi

LeBeouf is not someone who particularly deals with paparazzi in a calm and collected manner. He is known for his outrages and outbursts when he sees people following or photographing him. In an incident in 2020, the Honey Boy actor deliberately stopped a paparazzi’s car and stood in front of it because they were stalking him near his home. He yelled at them and when the neighbors started to take notice, he introduced himself to the neighbors. Not the regular way one would introduce themselves to their neighbors but it is Shia LeBeouf after all.

The American actor became a father earlier this year as his wife Mia Goth gave birth to a daughter.
