Samantha Markle has criticized her half-sister Meghan and called her new Netflix documentary a “flopumentary.” In the show’s first three episodes, which debuted on Thursday night, Meghan Markle addressed the ongoing conflict with her father’s side of the family, including his daughter, Samantha Markle.

Markle was “suddenly everywhere” when her relationship with Prince Harry became public, according to the Duchess of Sussex.

Following the release of the Duchess of Sussex’s most recent documentary with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle‘s half-sister accused the royal of being deceptive and peddling lies.

Samantha Markle criticized the six-part Harry & Meghan docuseries on Netflix, calling it a “flopumentary” that was “ridiculous” and “almost comedic.”

Samantha Markle referred specifically to the Duchess’ assertion in the documentary that she had to decline her niece Ashleigh’s invitation to the Royal Wedding in order to prevent her mother from attending. Ashleigh is Samantha’s daughter.

Harry & Meghan contains a number of revelations and accusations regarding Princess Diana, Prince Harry’s mother, and the ‘unconscious bias‘ happening in the Royal Family. The Sussexes “had to quit” their royal duties in March 2020, which is also explained in the series.

Meghan Markle’s estranged sister Samantha accused her Netflix series of pushing a narrative that will destroy the royal family with “So Many Lies…repeated Need to Push This Narrative.”

Samantha Markle continued, saying that even though her daughter must have felt “torn” between the two families, it was all a “lie.”

Samantha Markle also refuted claims that she had said she had “raised” Meghan  Markle during the lengthy interview, calling them “tabloid spin.” She then continued that she had merely “babysat” her because they had been like “normal sisters.”

Prince Harry compared the former Suits actress to his late mother and said in the documentary that he “had to quit” his royal duties to protect Meghan. 

The Duke of Sussex described his wife as “prey” for social media “hunters,” drawing comparisons between Diana’s paparazzi stalking and Markle’s current online harassment.

In the series, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle both talked openly about their romance, which was initially sparked by an email from Markle’s father, Thomas Markle.

The couple, who values privacy, has provided a wealth of images and video from their relationship with Netflix as part of their $100 million deal.

Liz Garbus, an Oscar nominee, directed the six-part Netflix series, Harry & Meghan. It is the centerpiece of the couple’s rumored multi-year, $183 million content deal with the streaming giant.

The first three episodes were broadcast internationally on December 8 on Netflix. The following three will be released on December 15.
