Recently, a fan-art imagined what Aquaman star Jason Momoa could portray as villain Kraven the Hunter in the MCU. At the moment, he’s slated to emerge in the sequel to his original film with Aquaman 2 locked in for a December 2022 release date. This doesn’t cease fans, however, for putting his name up when casting characters from other comic book brands like Marvel. More recently, people are swooning over the idea that he can enact Kraven.

On the tips of his demise and ultimate resurrection in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, respectively, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) didn’t get much time to come to terms with what happened around him ultimately. Fuel to that the blow of seeing his mentor and father figure, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), dying for the wellness of the world, and one could only imagine how hard it must’ve been for the young hero. Fortunately, he was able to surpass0 his issues while also fighting Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

A Twist of Identity

Many expected that the Jon Watts-directed sequel was going to be terminated on a high – with Peter’s life finally reaching a stabilizing point. That’s when his secret identity was disclosed to the whole world, thanks to a manipulated video left by Mysterio. On top of that, he’s also being conspired for the death of the fake hero. This inspired digital artist Bosslogic to imagine what Momoa would look like if he plays the role and it didn’t look half bad.

There’s precedence when it’s about DC talents arriving to work for Marvel and vice-versa, but chances of seeing Momoa making this crossover are very small. He, alongside Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, is born to be the face of the DCEU moving forth. The idea of him debuting in the MCU via the threequel was introduced by fan theories making a case for why he’s the absolute perfect villain for the upcoming movie. Spider-Man 3‘s journey to Production was rugged thus far with the brief separation between Disney/Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment last year, but now it seems like everything’s put behind now with the breach between the studios resolved hence the Production is set to commence this summer with a release date of July next year.
