Over the years, we have seen one too many Spider-Man suits. Of course, as the technology got better and the cinematic experience changed, so did the suits. In more recent times, we have seen some truly impeccable suits. So, let’s rank every Spider-Man suit that we have ever seen, and the ones we will see in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.

17. The Amazing Spider-Man Film Series (1977-1981)

The first suit came at a time when superheroes were considered too stupid for the mainstream audience. This can be seen in the suit that Spidey rocks in the first three films – Spider-Man, Spider-Man Strikes Back, and Spider-Man: The Dragon’s Challenge.

16. Spider-Man (1978)

1978 saw a spin-off movie of the Japanese show, Spider-Man. The costume makes you believe that it was brought from a store.

15. Wrestling Suit (2002)

Spider-Man (2002) saw a drastic change in the overall approach of the character. But when Peter gets his power, he takes part in a wrestling tournament to earn some quick cash. Hence, the first-ever Spidey of the new century.

14. Miles Morales’ First Suit (2018)

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a phenomenal movie in which Miles buys his first suit from a store. Of course, the cheap quality makes it look like a drag and doesn’t stand out.

13. Second Andrew Garfield Suit (2014)

Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man came with a different suit after 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man. The suit more closely resembled Sam Raimi’s trilogy which fans loved.

12. Stealth Suit (2019)

As mentioned above, we owe it to the technology for some awesome Spidey suits. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, the second movie of the Homecoming trilogy, fans got to see three suits and the stealth suit sits at the lowest. It looks cheap, but it hides Peter’s identity so that’s that.

11. First Tobey Maguire Suit (2002)

This one is a classic right here. Even though over the years fans love this suit, it doesn’t hold up to the future suits that would come. Parker designs it as he looks forward to ridding New York City of unlawful activities.

10. New Tobey Maguire Suit (2004)

Sam Raimi decided to make the suit brighter by enhancing the red while making the blue parts darker. Spidey dons this outfit for some of the best action sequences ever and wears the same for two movies straight.

9. Symbiote Suit (2007)

When the black suit first appeared in the trailer, the audience could not contain themselves. Hence, when the movie came, the fans weren’t disappointed at least with the suit as it showed a slick unique design. Moreover, it affected the way Peter behaved which was a good add-on.

8. First Andrew Garfield Suit (2012)

There has been a massive debate regarding this suit because some people believed that Sony decided to change the costume too much to separate it from Maguire’s. Whereas some believed that it was nice to have a noticeable change. Of course, it was the most advanced version of the costume.

7. Homemade Costume (2017)

Spider-Man: Homecoming provided a whole new definition to the term ‘homemade costume’. The suit resembles the awkward, geeky, and bubbly take of Tom Holland’s on the character. Moreover, the homemade suit has more features than just concealing the identity.

6. Upcoming Suit (2021)

As we have seen in the trailers, Holland’s Spider-Man is getting a new suit. However, the functions are unknown as of now but it sure is cool. The black and golden design surely sets it apart.

5. Peter Parker’s Suit (2018)

The suit is more of a traditional outfit worn by Peter Parker and Peter B. Parker in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Naturally, there are not many changes.

4. Stark Suit (2016)

You know things are going to change when Tony Stark hires you. He gives Peter a suit that is beyond his understanding and too cool to handle. The Spidey suit relied on the same AI as Iron Man which made it way cooler.

Miles Moreles’ second suit is one of the many reasons why fans think Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one oft he greatest superhero movies ever. One slick addition is that the suit resembles graffiti which Morales’ love.
