Spider-Man: No Way Home is less than a month far and Tom Holland has been giving interviews and attending press conferences like anything. His amazing work as Marvel’s Spider-Man also helped him to win GQ’s “Men of the Year” 2021.

The hype for the movie is surreal and why not as we get to see villains from the Sony’s Spider-Man movies which include Electro, Green Goblin and everyone’s favourite Doc Ock. But there is a possibility that this could be Tom Holland’s last solo film as Spider-Man.

In a recent interview with GQ, the 25 year old stated that maybe it is time for him to move on. He has a perfect replacement for himself and revealed that it’s best for Spider-Man if they do a Miles Morales live action film and introduce him into the MCU.

Many would believe that this would make MCU make a new origin to set up the tale and an entry point for Miles, but all of that isn’t needed. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has already done much of the work for Miles to be introduced in MCU without any difficulty,

In the 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the movie actually had a character; Aaron Davis who was portrayed by Donald Glover. Aaron Davis is one of the many characters who took the identity of Prowel; but…. he is also Miles Morales’ Uncle.

There’s a deleted scene from the Homecoming film that showed Davis name-dropping Miles in a phone call; and this could be considered as a pretty huge Easter egg from MCU, which could help Miles being easily introduced in MCU.

Marvel
Miles Morales

The perfect plot setting could be the time when Thanos snapped and wiped out half of the universe (including Peter Parker), there was a 5 year gap. Maybe in these 5 years, Miles was bit by a Spider and he went on to discover his powers growing, while Peter’s were diminishing.

MCU
Spider-Man

And of course, with Peter back in Far From Home, Miles kept a low profile and everyone had their eyes on Peter instead of Miles.

We hate to see Tom Holland going (if he is), but we can’t expect him to keep going on forever! He has played Spider-Man since he was 19 and has appeared in six movies in 5 years!!! It’s understandable that he needs a break and him choosing Miles Morales as his successor makes complete sense! Spider-Man is more than just Peter Parker, right?

Catch the Spider-Man: No Way Home on 17th December, who knows end credits could introduce Miles Morales?
