After mysteriously taking his own life at age 40, The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss left behind a suicide note that alluded to his challenges in the past. On Tuesday, December 13, he was reported dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and his body was found in a motel room in Los Angeles.

Stephen “tWitch” Boss was famous as an in-house DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and became a co-executive producer, and his appearances on Fox’s dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance carved his name in the dance world.

The DJ and his wife, Allison Holker, first connected in 2010, and both appeared in the dance show So You Think You Can Dance. After getting married in 2013 in Paso Robles, California, they have three children: daughters Weslie and Zaia and son Maddox.

Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s Suicide Note Found

According to TMZ, DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss left a suicide note behind as one clue as to what drove him to commit suicide which allegedly referred to his past challenges. It is unclear precisely what tWitch was referring to in the note he left to mark the scene of his suicide, according to law enforcement sources. His suicide note made references to his past struggles. Not much is known about the content of the note, but the authorities are looking into it.

TMZ reported that the tWitch’s wife, Allison Holker, was frantic on Tuesday when she showed up at the location, and she claimed that he had left home without notice and was not answering her phone calls.

Allison Holker confirmed the news and said,

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and the light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

The famous DJ and TV host was discovered dead by a motel staffer on Tuesday inside his room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

After the sudden passing of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker Boss is being showered with love and support from Hollywood celebrities. She confirmed the news to the media outlets after tWitch died by suicide with a heavy heart as her whole world just turned upside down suddenly.

After Allison Holker’s loss, several stars left heartfelt and supportive messages on their joint Instagram post, which showed them dancing together just two days earlier. The stars who sent love messages to Allison Holker after her husband’s death include Olivia Munn, Chelsea Handler, Maddie Ziegler, Niecy Nash, and Kyle Richards.

tWitch’s wife asked for privacy in her family’s difficult time, and she said,

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.”

She was devastated by this loss and sent her love to her late husband,

“Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Stephen Boss is survived by his wife, Allison Holker, and their children Zaia, 3, Maddox, 6, and Weslie, 14.
