Her latest song Flowers is also supposed to be about her relationship with him. And reading the lyrics a lot of references in connection to Hemsworth can be found throughout the song. It is not surprising for a person in a relationship to get hurt when their partner is focused more on a past relationship instead of the current one. And that is exactly what Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend Maxx Morando is apparently going through. The pop singer’s latest track Flowers is clearly about ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Even after about two years since their divorce, Cyrus is still writing songs about him. According to Radar Online, an insider spilled that Morando is not happy with all this and has reportedly provided an ultimatum to his girlfriend. The insider shared,

stop fixating on Liam and spend more time concentrating on him”

That is exactly what Morando needs from The Climb singer. Moreover, he apparently feels that she is not completely over her ex-husband despite some lines in the song saying otherwise. Lots of the lines are direct references to the incidents that occurred while she and Hemsworth were together. Such as the 2018 fire accident that burned their home down. Seemingly the corresponding line in the track is,

“We were right ‘til we weren’t; Built a home and watched it burn.”

And the fact that no one can question what she carried out in her music does sit right with Morando according to the insider.

Before the divorce got finalized back on January 28th, 2020, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had been in an off-and-on decade-long relationship. The two got married in 2018, after calling off an engagement in 2012.  However, the Australian actor finally decided to call it quits by filing for divorce a year before it was finalized, in 2019. Since then, the pair have not ever spotted together in public at least. Also seemingly Hemsworth has no desire to connect with his ex-wife even on friendly terms. Previously it was reported that Cyrus tried to connect with him as a friend. It was around the time when the Seven Things singer had been dealing with her parent’s divorce. She reached out for emotional support but according to an insider,

“But Liam won’t even return her calls and has let her know through others he doesn’t want any contact with her.”

All in all, it seems, Cyrus still has some soft spot for her ex-husband considering their relationship spanned a decade. But the Hunger Games actor is not reciprocating the same as far as it is known.
