Margot Robbie is one of the most successful leading actresses in the Hollywood industry. In addition to her skills in acting, which can be seen in her work, she has recently proclaimed her love of heavy metal music. She opened up about how she used to have an “emo” phase while growing up. She also stated that her love for metal music is still running in her veins.

While the actress claimed to be obsessed with heavy metal music, Cate Blanchett seems to be unimpressed by her musical taste, with fans now calling out the latter for judging the Suicide Squad actor’s taste in music.
Margot Robbie Opens Up About Her Teenage Obsession
The 32-year-old Margot Robbie recently made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, where Cate Blanchett was also present. On the show, the former revealed her love for heavy metal by stating,
“I’d listen to really heavy metal music and I would dye my hair black and only cut it with a razor blade. So yeah, kinda goth.”
To that, the Thor: Ragnarok star inquired,
“Does anyone like heavy metal music? Was that something you genuinely liked?”
Robbie remained calm and specified that she “genuinely” likes metal music. The latter again questioned if she is into “monster trucks and things like that?”
The Barbie actress went on to mention her past experience of attending a Slipknot concert. It was quite special for her as many metal music fans recognized the star from her The Neighbours show which she did not experience anywhere else. “It was Neighbours and Slipknot,” she stated on the show.

She even was taken aback when Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor showed his gratitude to the actress during a BBC Radio 1 appearance and asked her to attend their concert again. Back in 2020, she already boasted about her knowledge of Aerosmith, Slipknot, KISS, and Metallica in a segment on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
