Sylvester Stallone is currently in London to film The Expendables 4 and simultaneously worked on the script while he was out for dinner.

Sylvester Stallone originally created The Expendables in 2010 as an action franchise that attempts to capture the genre. Since then, the series has had two sequels and has successfully gathered numerous stars from Hollywood’s action genre and includes big names like Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Terry Crews are few to name amongst others.

The Expendables 4 is all set to be directed by Scott Waugh (director of Need For Speed) and will see Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, and Dolph Lundgren returning from the original cast and will be seeing newcomers to the Andy Gracia, 50 Cent, Tony Jaa and Megan Fox joining them.

The first two films in the series saw massive success at the box office earnings but Expendables 3, which was the first film rated PG – 13, brought younger stars and still did not fare that well.

In a recent Instagram post, Sylvester Stallone started a video that shows him in a post restaurant in London with a manuscript in hand. On being asked what is he doing, he responds that he is ” working on a scene with Jason Statham for The Expendables 4 they will be shooting the next day” and they gotta get it right! His dining companion gives him a reality check saying they are in the middle of a dinner to which he replies saying he will eat his words and she can eat some bread.

Stallone doesn’t ever take breaks while working!

It is still not clear if Expendables 4 is supposed to be a sequel or a spinoff considering there were rumors that the next film would be focusing on Lee Christmas (Statham’s character). That could still be the case but there has been no clarity on this yet. Since the OG cast is back, hopefully, the business will be back for the franchise.

Sylvester Stallone has some immense dedication to his work, even 45 years later to his dedication to Rocky.

The Expendables 4 is expected to hit the theatres in 2022.
