Apart from the group’s maknae, the group collectively bagged the award for Best Metaverse Performance for their PUBG collaboration Ready For Love from their second studio album BORN PINK. While the girls were appreciated for their efforts, their maknae was being criticized online for snagging the award for the Best K-Pop for her solo song, LALISA, with many stating that it was unfair. Lisa had always been the center of all malicious comments due to her nationality (Thai) with many even stating, that the singer being Thai, won the best K-Pop.

Not only that, many even criticized her for being an Asian, who won the award suggesting that they shall make different categories for the same. However, Blinks came to her rescue and supported the artist with their heartfelt congratulatory messages.

The girls have rocked the American stage with their PINK VENOM while this song is going viral and has already surpassed 200 million views on YouTube. The group’s upcoming second studio album Born Pink will be released on September 16, 2022, which has sold over 2 million copies in pre-orders making it the first album by a K-pop female act to achieve the milestone. This will be followed by their world tour, “BORN PINK” which will begin in October in Seoul this year and will end on June 2023 in New Zealand.
