“The monarchy is still extremely popular in America”: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Rapidly Losing Fanbase in the US While Kate Middleton Becomes New Heartthrob After Recent Visit

It seems like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are losing popularity in the US following their alleged attacks on the Royal Family. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s recent visit to the US has apparently turned the US citizens against Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The first episode of their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, was dropped recently and so far they have not initiated any attacks on the Royal Family. Kate Middleton also reportedly met Prince Harry and his kids when she was in the US. Since the announcement of Prince Harry’s memoir, the tensions between him and the Royal Family have increased even more.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are losing popularity in the US

As per Washington-based British royal expert, Nile Gardiner, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are losing popularity in the United States because of their “relentless attacks on the Royal Family.” He implied that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to the US recently turned out good for them as they gained a lot of popularity among the citizens. Gardiner said,

“Americans don’t like vicious attacks on the Royal Family. The monarchy is still extremely popular in America.”

The first episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary was released on 8th December 2022, and so far they have not made any shocking attacks on the Royal Family.

Prince Harry did not like Meghan Markle mocking their traditions

Nile Gardiner also noted that in the first episode of the documentary, Meghan Markle joked about the first time she curtsied to Queen Elizabeth II as she didn’t know how to curtsy. As she went on to explain, Prince Harry had a look of disapproval on his face and it seemed like he didn’t like it.

One of the episodes used an excerpt from the famous interview Princess Diana had with the BBC. Prince William reportedly had asked that part to not be rebroadcasted, but his requestwas not met. Nile Gardiner also pointed out that on NBC they said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had “renewed their confrontation with the British royals.”

The couple has called out the Royal Family in the past

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have accused the Royal Family of treating them like an outcast in the past. It all began in 2021 when the two appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show and shared shocking information about the Royal Family treating them in a bad way.

Sources claimed that Prince Harry was “deeply unhappy” because of his family’s attitude after his marriage, so he decided to abandon his royal duties and move to California in January 2020 with his wife. Prince Harry’s personal memoir is also expected to come out soon and his friends are reportedly worried that he has gone “too far.”

Harry & Meghan is currently streaming on Netflix.
