Kate Winslet showed that celebrities are capable of repeating outfits. She recycled the gown she wore 7 years ago to Toronto International Film Festival. The Titanic star picked up a heavily embellished, charcoal-colored Badgley Mischka gown for her new film’s premiere. Winslet looked stunning in the stone-colored dress with the thick sequins on the sides and a high spaghetti strap neckline. The gown fitted her perfectly, falling on the floor elegantly.

The 47-year-old actor opted for minimal makeup, twisted her blonde hair into an updo, and highlighted her lips with a blush pink shade. For the jewelry, Winslet went for silver earrings to keep the elegance of her gown. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress said,

“The dresses, the stress, the dress fittings… It’s so stressful, and I know that sounds like, ‘Oh, here goes Kate Winslet talking about how stressful it is to do dress fittings for award shows.’ But it is stressful.”

The Oscar-winning star talked about how money and hours are wasted in making these outfits that are to be worn only once. So Winslet has decided to repeat her dresses. The mother of three wearing the dress to Avatar’s premiere is eco-friendly as well as budget-friendly. The Badgley Mischka dress originally cost roughly $1200, but it is available for around $179 on Rent the Runway.
