‘The Notorious will rule Hollywood’: Former UFC Champion Conor McGregor Set To Take Hollywood By Storm By Teaming Up With Jake Gyllenhaal in Road House Remake

Conor McGregor is an Irish Mixed Martial Artist and and the biggest names in UFC history. Having over 40 million followers on social media despite being inactive for the last several years, McGregor is considered to be the reason behind UFC’s growing popularity. The Irishman is the biggest Pay Per View draw in UFC history and famously goes by the nickname ‘Notorious’. He was the number one highest-paid athlete list by Forbes in 2021. Now, the king has set his eyes on Hollywood and is all set for his debut movie with Jake Gyllenhaal.

After reigning over the octagon for years, the Notorious has now set his eyes on Hollywood. As a result, the former UFC double champion will be making his debut in Hollywood in prime video’s remake of the 80s classic movie, Road House, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

Conor McGregor almost Made his Hollywood Debut With xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

Hollywood has been trying for some time to get in business with McGregor. According to reports, McGregor was about to make his acting debut in 2016 alongside Vin Diesel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. But the superstar had to withdraw at the last minute after his loss to Nate Diaz.

The UFC star wanted His Debut Project to be The Right Fit

According to sources, when McGregor got the whiff of Hollywood is trying to get him in the remake of Road House, he first watched the original film and enjoyed it thoroughly. The Irishman was reportedly curious about how he would fit in the remake. After meeting the producer of the film, Joel Silver, McGregor was all in and is very excited for the new remake which going to be a tad bit different from the original.

A spokesperson of Conor McGregor has reportedly said, “While fighting remains his top focus, this is the beginning of another successful venture in the McGregor empire. He is eager to get started filming.”
