DC Comics has launched a new six-issue miniseries starring Thomas Wayne as Flashpoint Batman:

For the primary issue of Flashpoint on the far side, original author Geoff Johns is going to be joined by artist Eduardo Risso for a follow-up to the multiverse-shattering 2011 event series. A flashpoint on the other side, which can be free in Gregorian calendar month, can follow a different tender as he awakens in a broken world that he is aware should not exist. “This is for lovers of serious DC events and DC’s superb heritage in comic books,” Johns explained. And, despite the fact that this can be an occasion, it focuses on character over concept—it’s the story of Thomas Wayne’s tender, a Barry Allen UN agency could’ve been, and Bruce Wayne’s misdeeds—it is a mystery story, a secret mission, and a glimpse into the DC universe’s past, present, and future. And, as grim as it might become in Flashpoint’s inverted universe, it’s amusing. ”

Flashpoint established a horrific parallel universe shaped by Barry Allen’s travel back in time to save lots of his mother:

Flashpoint bestowed a destructive parallel universe shaped by Barry Allen’s travels back in time to save his mother, Nora, and teaming up with a radically different tender to repair the timeline. In this alternative universe, Bruce Wayne was slain rather than his parents in this fateful alley, reworking his mother into The Joker and his father into a savagely vindictive version of the caped crusader. Whereas The Flash’s actions caused a horrific world war between Themiscyra and Atlantis that killed millions and left entire continents vulnerable to destruction, Thomas Wayne’s tender was actuated by the prospect of adjusting reality so he would possibly switch places with his deceased son. Once the Flash succeeds in travelling back in time, Flashpoint on the far side follows abreast of Thomas’ narrative. The world should have reset, and he should not be alive. With the investigation delivering him to the enigmatic mechanism killer, Thomas gears up all over again to analyze why his selflessness seems to be failing.

The original Flashpoint gave DC the chance to reset its narrative history and merge the fictitious timelines of the DC, Vertigo, and WildStorm universes:

The first Flashpoint gave DC the chance to reset its narrative history and merge the fictitious timelines of the DC, Vertigo, and WildStorm universes. In the decade following its initial release, the narrative has been adapted for various media several times, including a comics-faithful animated feature film and a season premiere episode of The CW’s The Flash that had reality-changing ramifications across the entire Arrowverse. The Flash, starring Ezra Miller and reuniting Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as separate Batmans in the DC Extended Universe, is planned to take numerous story aspects from Flashpoint. Because of the story’s popularity and recurrent usage of its mechanics, “flashpoint” has become a common name for other universes formed by a speedster manipulating realities. It’s unclear whether Flashpoint Beyond will investigate time-travel misadventures or simply tell a new story in a popular other universe, but the alleged “Clockwork Killer” could be a clue to the mystery of the Flashpoint reality’s extended existence. Doomsday Clock, a 2017–2019 limited series written by Johns, featured Watchmen’s reality-bending Doctor Manhattan in a crossover permitted by the original Flashpoint’s blending of the multiple DC realities. Flashpoint Beyond will debut on April 5 with a 48-page Issue # 0, followed by six more issues released bi-weekly beginning April 19. Johns will be joined by authors Jeremy Adams and Tim Sheridan, beginning with Issue #1, which features art by Xermánico. The new issues are:
