The primary twist for the Eternals has already been spoiled in the MCU:

The main plot surprise for Eternals may have already been revealed in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Eternals, the MCU’s newest superhero squad, will be introduced by director Chloé Zhao. The Celestials brought the ancient heroes to Earth to safeguard mankind from the Deviants, but they were commanded not to interfere in any other events that did not have any links to their original purpose-which is why they have never made themselves known until now. Eternals follows in the footsteps of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in adding entirely new characters to the MCU, which is now in a rebuilding phase following the conclusion of the Infinity Saga. Aside from pushing second-generation heroes to be the franchise’s next face, Marvel Studios is also introducing a slew of new characters that will play crucial roles in their future storyline. The fact that the Eternals are a completely new superhuman squad distinguishes them and adds to their allure. The forthcoming film will be the first time the MCU has seen a full cast of characters since James Gunn’s first Guardians of the Galaxy film in 2014.

The only connection between the Eternals & Shang-Chi:

However, that isn’t the only link between the blockbusters. If a popular hypothesis is right, the Guardians of the Galaxy may have already wrecked Eternals’ narrative twist. There’s a popular belief that the Celestials aren’t as good as they appear. In the trailers, Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) questions the Eternals’ choice not to aid the Avengers in their war against Thanos (Josh Brolin), and all Sersi (Gemma Chan) has to say is that they’re not allowed to interfere. The fact that they ordered the Eternals to remain on the sidelines and not assist mankind in times of crisis unless the Deviants are engaged is already suspect. However, a specific scene in Guardians of the Galaxy reinforces the notion that cosmic entities cannot be trusted. While explaining the origins of the Infinity Stones, the Collector (Benicio del Toro) claimed that the Celestials used to roam about the cosmos judging various planets. Those who did not satisfy their requirements were annihilated by the Power Stone. If they can be so brutal in other civilizations, chances are they’d be willing to subject Earth to the same treatment.

Assuming that the Celestials turn out to be evil, then the Eternals will have to make a choice:

If the Celestials turn out to be wicked, the Eternals will have to choose between allowing them to ransack Earth and opposing the same powers that created them to defend mankind. The trailers for Eternals have made a great deal out of how much time spent on Earth altered some of the titular characters. For starters, Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) is married to a guy, and they have a son together. Sersi, on the other hand, is in a relationship with Dane. Ajak (Salma Hayek) acknowledges that individuals have influenced her. However, it is reasonable to conclude that the squad will not reach a unified consensus. Sprite (Lia McHugh), for example, dislikes humans because she believes they are beneath the Eternals. It’s unclear what other members, like Thena (Angelina Jolie), Ikaris (Richard Madden), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), and the rest, think about the situation. Marvel Studios implies that the events of Eternals will have a huge impact on the MCU in the future. There’s no word on how that will happen, but the fact that the Eternals will eventually make themselves known to the public is a significant departure from the present franchise status quo. The question is whether they emerge from their new assignment as a cohesive unit, or whether the potential narrative twist involving the Celestials divides them.
