Ms. Heard said that there’s a binder full of years of notes that give an explanation of what was actually going on. In the clip, she said,

There’s a binder worth of years of notes dating back to 2011 from the very beginning of my relationship that were taken by my doctor, who I was reporting the abuse to

The documents are shown on-screen, and highlight many incidents like one in 2012 in which Johnny Depp allegedly “hit her, threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her,” according to the program, eight months after that, Johnny Depp allegedly “ripped her nightgown, threw her on the bed,” and in 2013, he reportedly “threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her.” Apparently, Amber Heard’s legal team was unable to use the documents as evidence in the highly publicized trial due to “hearsay.”

In response to Dateline, a spokesperson for Johnny Depp indicated that the actor wants to “move forward” after he won his case. They said,

Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post back in 2018 in which she called herself a victim of domestic abuse. On June 1st, a jury found that the editorial was about Johnny Depp and awarded him $10 million in compensatory and $5 million in punitive damages.
