Shang-Chi

Ant-Man

It took years for this superhero to become as popular as he is today.

Hyperion

But Hyperion’s recent starring roles have made him popular amongst the reader’s minds.

The Punisher

In the beginning, the Punisher was not the criminal killing character that we see today. But the transition in his character has made him become a successful character in the MCU. The Punisher is now popularly also because of the massive anti-hero craze in the Marvel Universe.

Iron Fist

Iron Fist was Marvel’s way to turn the 60s and 70s Kung-Fu craze into an opportunity. Danny Rand, AKA Iron Fist would get his own book soon. But the character was not as popular as successful as it is today. It only happened when he teamed up with Luke Cage.

X-Men

When Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created the series, it gained a decent start but the character became popular only when Dave Cockrum and Len Wein put out the Giant-Size X-Men.

Hawkeye

Hawkeye debuted as an Iron Man villain, which made the concept turn bizarre. After its first appearance in the MCU, the character vanished for quite a long time. As a result, it took years for Hawkeye to become as successful as he is today.
