The movie started with a main photoshoot of the cast in July and August of 2011. Both Cameron Diaz And Jennifer Lopez were included during the shoot and that marked the beginning of their feud rumors. According to the reports, JLo and Diaz had a difficult time working together on set and were fiercely competitive with one another. It was also stated that they both didn’t like each other and avoided talking on set.
The 50-year-old star was unimpressed by the rumors swirling about her co-star’s divorce with husband Marc Anthony and Lopez dating Rodrigo Santoro as a distraction. She was also irritated by the number of people the singer brought on set. The insider reported, “She made a snide comment to the effect of, ‘How many people does it take for one woman to film a simple scene?”
The duo responded to the rumors during their appearance together on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2012. The Mask star said, “They are always pitting women against each other. Are the men all sword fighting? That doesn’t happen.” While the 53-year-old singer said the beef was not possible since they both had different shoot schedules and hardly saw each other.

Selena star and Diaz starred in What to Expect When You’re Expecting directed by Kirk Jones which was released in May 2012. The story was written by Shauna Cross and Heather Hach, while the film is based on the book written by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel.
The story revolves around five couples as they experience the highs and lows of parenthood. The What Happens in Vegas star plays the role of Jules, who is a contestant on a celebrity dance show and the host of a weight-loss fitness show. While the singer plays Holly, a photographer who is trying to conceive with her husband Alex, played by Rodrigo Santoro.
